The Company & The Role

Foodhub are a global technology platform which makes ordering your favourite food wherever you are; home, the office, or out with friends easier than it has ever been.

Foodhub are in hyper-growth mode and as part of that growth we are looking for THREE Back-End Engineers who specialise in working with Node to join the business.

Foodhub currently has a global staffing based, with the UK headquarters in the heart of the North-West of England. These hires will see a commitment from the CEO to grow the UK Development team throughout 2022 and byond.

We are looking for Back-End Developers who are fundamentally driven by high quality and reliability,

being capable of designing and implementing services and API’s that adhere to a high

standard of quality, reliability and performance,

Job Role & Responsibilities

Participate in the entire application lifecycle, with a core focus on development.

Design and implement highly scalable and reliable REST API’s.

Collaborate with Front-end teams to agree on API contracts.

Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.

Design and Deploy cloud level solutions to provide reliable integrations with 3rd parties.

Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.

Maintain an existing IaC (Infrastructure as code) project that automates the
provision of cloud level resources.

Work closely with QA team members to ensure high test quality.

Liaise with developers, product and management to identify new services

 

The Successful person will be

Highly experienced with back-end programming languages such as  Node. 

Node.JS is a must for this role. 

Understanding and experience in the Agile / SCRUM methodology.

Fundamental understanding of SQL.

Able to design and implement cloud solutions using Messaging, Decoupled Processing, Step Function and Machine Learning data flow control.

Experience with Document Stores, specifically DynamoDB.

Fundamental understanding of SQL.

Knowledge of build and deploy framework for CI and CD, including TeamCity and AWS CodeDeploy.

A salary of up-to £80,000 per year.
